ABOUT

The Chinese cabbage is an elongated cabbage with green leaves and white leafstalks. The vegetable has a spicy taste and can be eaten in its entirety. Chinese cabbages are mainly used for salads and wok dishes.

PREPARATION

The Chinese cabbage should have firm stems when purchased. The leaves shouldn’t be faded and have a fresh colour. Wash the Chinese cabbage, allow the water to drain well and cut the Chinese cabbage into pieces for further preparation. The Chinese cabbage can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
