Flowers are now more commonly being used in the kitchen. There are a number of types of flowers which are edible. Flower petals are also used to garnish different dishes as a result of their aroma.

PREPARATION

Buy flowers which aren’t limp and weak and which look healthy. Remove the stems before use and wash the flowers in cold water. Allow the flowers to dry and add them to the dish. Edible flowers can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
