ABOUT
The okra is an elongated vegetable. The green skin is covered with fine down. The okra has a mild to slightly seasoned taste, usually slightly sour and spicy. Okra can be used raw, marinated or even as an independent vegetable. The vegetable can be effectively combined with tomatoes, onions, corn, paprikas, peppers and aubergines. The okra is often also used in stews. A slimy substance is released when cutting the okra, which has binding properties when it’s heated up.
