The parsley root is a long, white root which is popular in the East European kitchen. The taste is comparable to parsnip and celeriac. The parsley root can be served as a vegetable or processed in soups and hotpots.

PREPARATION

Both the root and the leaf are suitable for culinary preparation. The leaf can be used for soups and stocks. Peel the root with a peeler. The root can be eaten raw by grating it, or it can be boiled.
